In case you missed it, we had several new releases during the month of October and we have started November off with a bang!
First, we had The Music Murder Industry by A.R. Ratliff. Joe Ruddy (rhymes with bloody) was a former military policeman. New to the Dallas Police Department and even newer to the detective division, Joe found himself being assigned to all the shitty cases the veterans did not want to investigate. Joe was a self-conscious alcoholic who wrote songs and sang in bars and honky tonks. He did not consider himself a professional singer but enjoyed singing as a hobby. His hobby made Joe the prime candidate for reopening an old homicide case. Get your copy today
Second, we had a special Halloween story from author, Rebecca Benston. Rona Gets the Creeps: A Rona Shively Short is available now. A big, black cat. A killer iguana. A creepy cemetery. Someone has died. And someone is missing. Can Rona find the common thread? And once she's found it, what will happen if she pulls it? Watch this Halloween caper unravel as Rona Gets the Creeps! Even though Halloween is over, you can still check out this fun mystery. It will be on sale through the end of the year at the special price of just $5.99 plus shipping. Get yours here.
Next, we follow the love story of Antoinette and Domenic Lombardi in 200 Letters, 62 Years, and a War. Domenic and Antoinette Lombardi began dating when they were teenagers. And soon afterward Domenic was called to fight in the Korean War. During his time in combat, he wrote his love, Antoinette, over 200 letters. She saved every one of them. Their editor, Maryanne Christiano-Mistretta spent several months at the home of The Lombardis in Florham Park, New Jersey, ferreting through the photo albums, love letters, and notebook dairies in order to put together this wondrous memoir. The happy couple have been married over 65 years, as of this second printing. This book is available now. Get your copy here.
We didn't forget about the kids! Pixie Trist and Bo Search for the Biggest and Bestest Hat by Charlotte Hopkins is available now! Join Pixie Trist and Bo as they go in search of a fine hat for Hat Day! Will they find the right one in time? Get your copy today and find out!
