This month, we are putting author, Frank Adkins in the spotlight. The author of Jack Kramer's Journey and Asleep at the Keyboard, Frank is a life-long automotive enthusiast who enjoys building, driving, showing, and racing antique vehicles. He has published two automotive books, Chrysler Performance Upgrades (CarTech, 1999) and How to Build High Performance Chrysler Engines (CarTech, 2001). In addition, his technical articles have appeared in numerous regional and national hobbyist publications.
He is an ASE certified Master Automobile Technician who worked in various shops and dealerships for more than twenty years before transitioning into teaching Automotive Technology. He and his wife, Kristan, have two adult children and four grandchildren. They enjoy vacationing in northern Maine. They are also active in several car clubs.
