In 2024, Higher Ground Books & Media celebrated ten years of publishing inspirational, motivational, and educational books. We have spent the past decade providing spectacular stories of testimony (many with a host of 5-star reviews) for our readers and we're looking forward to publishing even more in 2025.
Since this is the time of year where we take a look at where we started and where we've been, I'd like to take this opportunity to share some of our stats with you. Not only for the past year, but for the last decade.

What a year!
We were able to publish 21 new books in 2024. 12 were children's books, 5 were memoir/devotional, and 4 were fiction. A nice mix of new stories and resources for you! And they are all available in the HGBM Shop or on Amazon. You can also find some of our titles in other online stores including Barnes & Noble, Walmart, and Target.
Since we opened our doors back in 2014 (officially), we've had the privilege of publishing over 200 books in both paperback and Kindle formats by 61 authors. We've also made over 60 of our titles into audiobooks which are available on Audible. So Many Great Authors!
When HGBM started, we had three authors including myself. Over the years, more and more wonderful authors (nearly 63) have joined us in our quest to spread the good news of God's grace and the blessings He gives. This year was filled with new releases from many of your favorite HGBM Authors! And we had one more awesome author join the HGBM family! We are so happy to have welcomed Joanne Coleman to the HGBM family. She'll have a brand-new title coming out in 2025, so be on the lookout for information on new releases.
We Want Your Story!
HGBM has authors representing about nineteen states across the USA. We want to reach all fifty! Will you be the one who puts your state on the map? Send us your submission by February 28, 2025, and you could be next to be added to our roster of awesome authors.
A Wide Variety of Stories...and More on the Way!
Of the over 200 stories we've published, 21% were ministry resources, 31% were children's books, 14% were fiction, and 34% were non-fiction. In 2025, we would love to expand our offerings for teens and young adults. If you've written something that would be appropriate for this age group, please consider making a submission. Competition this round will be a bit fierce, so we encourage you to get your submission in early. Be sure to review our submission guidelines before submitting. Good luck!
