HYBRID PUBLISHING

 

Our primary publishing service is Hybrid Publishing.

 

Authors pay an upfront publishing fee based on the services required for their project and, in return, retain 100% of the royalties earned from eligible book sales, after applicable retailer, distributor, and production costs.

 

Hybrid Publishing services may include:

• Manuscript editing and proofreading

• Cover design

• Interior formatting and book layout

• eBook preparation

• Print book preparation

• Publishing and distribution setup

• ISBN and publishing administration

• Audiobook production and publishing, when included in the selected package

• Initial press release

• Marketing and promotional support

• Author guidance throughout the publishing process

 

Publishing packages are customized according to the needs of each project.

 

AUTHOR COACHING

Not sure where to begin?

 

Author Coaching provides one-on-one guidance for writers who need help understanding the publishing process, developing their manuscript, creating an author platform, or determining what steps to take next.

 

EDITING & PROOFREADING

A strong manuscript deserves careful attention.

 

We offer editing and proofreading services for authors who need an experienced second set of eyes before publication or submission.

 

Services may include:

• Proofreading

• Copyediting

• Manuscript review

• Developmental feedback

• Formatting preparation

 

Projects are evaluated individually, and pricing is based on manuscript length and the level of editing required.

 

GHOSTWRITING

Have a story to tell but need help putting it on the page?

 

Our ghostwriting services help individuals develop their ideas, experiences, and stories into a finished manuscript. We work with clients through the development process to create a manuscript that reflects their voice, vision, and goals.

 

BUSINESS & PROFESSIONAL WRITING

HGBM also provides professional writing services outside of book publishing.

 

Services may include:

• Business documents

• Policies and procedures

• Manuals and handbooks

• Promotional materials

• Press releases

• Resumes and professional documents

• Organizational communications

• Other customized writing projects

 

MARKETING & AUTHOR SUPPORT

Publishing a book is only the beginning.

 

We provide select marketing and promotional services to help authors present their books professionally and build awareness of their work.

 

Services may include promotional copy, press releases, social media content, author platform guidance, and other marketing support.

 

TRADITIONAL PUBLISHING

Traditional Publishing is available only to a limited number of manuscripts selected by HGBM.

 

Authors accepted under a Traditional Publishing agreement do not pay an upfront publishing fee. Instead, HGBM assumes the publishing costs and royalties are divided 50/50 between the author and HGBM according to the terms of the publishing contract.

 

Traditional Publishing is selective and is not available for every submission.
